Tim Chumley, age 57, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born February 2, 1962 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of the late Rev. Claude E. Chumley and Cledis Bryant Chumley. He was a member of the Brethren Church in Ewing, Virginia. He had a deep faith and devotion to God, and he had a love for golf.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Chumley.
He is survived by the following members of his family: his loving wife, Angela King Chumley of Middlesboro, KY; Mother, Cledis Chumley of Middlesboro, KY; Sister, Becky Chumley of Harrogate, TN; Children, Nicole “Nikki” Chumley and Corey Chumley of Oneida, TN; Step-daughter, Kristin (Nathan) Stork of Aurora, CO; Aunt, Margaret Chumley (Clyde) Peters and a host of other dear, personal relatives and friends.
The family will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., at the Ewing Church of the Brethren in Ewing, Virginia with the Rev. Frank Turner and Mr. Heath Good officiating. Music will be provided by the church singers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions take the form of donations to help with funeral expenses.
